Hydro Jetting uses high-pressure water to scrub away years of accumulated build-up on the inside walls of your pipes. Think of it as a power washer for your plumbing system. Functionally, hydro jetting follows a similar concept as traditional snaking or rootering with a key difference: whereas snaking or rootering punches out blockages, which creates a temporary opening in a pipe, hydro jetting uses a stream of ultra high-pressure water to clear the pipe, rather than a physical drain snake.
This technique can be beneficial in certain situations such as finished basements, landscaped yards, and difficult to reach areas.
At some point in their lifespan, most plumbing systems will run into problems with an accumulation or buildup of debris and materials — that’s why regular plumbing maintenance and cleaning is important.
But things happen, people move and sometimes maintenance gets pushed to the back burner. It’s at that point that hydro jetting can be part of an effective arsenal to service the problems that might end up occurring. Here are some problems that hydro jetting can address:
• Most commonly used for soft blockages:
• Blockages in drain pipes;
• Accumulation of debris along pipe walls;
• In some cases, to remove tree roots from pipes;
• Situations where full pipe replacement is not feasible.
DrainWorks’ trained drain technicians will always look at your unique situation and make a thorough determination of whether hydro jetting or snaking is the recommended approach to clearing your drain issue when excavating is not an option.
Maintain your drains with regularly scheduled hydro jettings.
DrainWorks® proudly uses US Jetting products for Hydro-Jetting services.
Our “No-Dig” Technology has proven to be such a permanent solution; you can now fix your drain pipes without having to trench dig your property. In some situations, a “no-dig” repair is the preferred approach to pipe repair or replacement in order to minimize disruption to the property.
Our trenchless no dig technology is useful in certain situations like the following:
• Pipes running under landscaping/gardens
• Highly finished basements
• Areas with large or structured items in the dig area
We will beat any comparable written drain quote by 10% of the difference and we put that promise in writing.
If your main sewer/sanitary line is backed up, meaning a floor drain, etc, we will send in one of our highly trained, certified, full time salaried (meaning non-commission based) drain technicians with top of the line drain rootering equipment to clear your main line and return your sewer system to functionality, and “If we don’t clear it, you don’t pay!”®
Now that is truly a risk free proposal; we won’t take a penny if your sewer backup isn’t cleared.
Hydro Jetting
Because we treat everyone’s home with the same respect we show our own, our excavations are surgical in nature and very unobtrusive.
That said, excavation isn’t for everyone, which is why we offer “No-Dig” pipe replacement technology (which is less invasive than normal digging methods) as well as the unobtrusive drain hydro-jetting.
